“Check out all the chicks, dudes.” Don said.
“I know it.” Ray said. “They’re everywhere. Where can I buy me a nice piece of babe pie?” He rubbed his hands together.
“You boys disgust me.” Sara said. They were all walking together through the mall. “Where did Bane go?” She asked.
“Probably to prey on the innocent ladies.” Crow said looking around for something. “Aha!” His eyes grew wide as he found what he was looking for. “Hot Topic! Come on Sara!” Grabbing on to the back of Sara’s shirt, he ran into the store.
“Um…Isn’t this more of your kind of store than mi—” Sara started but stopped when she spotted a purple and black Victorian Halloween dress. “Oh my gosh!” She ran up to it and grabbed it. “It’s so awesome.” Looking at the price tag, her heart sank. “It’s so expensive.”
“That’s because it’s a real Victorian dress. There’s only one in this store.” A voice said behind her.
Sara turned around to see a male (probably a few years older than her) standing behind her. He had black hair with red streaks in it that ran down to the bottom of his waist. He wore a tight black t-shirt that showed off his muscles and a pair of black pants, ripped in random places then held together with safety pins. His eyes were the most amazing though. One eye was red and the other, pink. “Those are some crazy contact lenses.” She thought.
“It’s one of a kind. It’s not a Halloween costume you’d want to wear trick-or-treating.” He said.
“It doesn’t really matter. I can’t afford it anyway.” Sara said.
“That’s too bad.” He said. “It would look so lovely on you too.”
“Sara! Come here!” Crow called.
Sara turned to look for where the voice was coming from and spotted Crow’s hand waving above the clothing in the back. She turned back to tell the man goodbye, but he was gone. Shrugging her shoulders, she placed the dress back and started to walk to Crow.
“What a stupid girl.” A female voice said behind her. Sara looked back to see a girl holding the dress. The girl turned to an older man behind her. “This dress is only for people as good as me, huh Daddy?”
“That’s right sweetie.” The man said.
Sara thought, “My gosh. This girl is twenty something and is still begging her father for money?”
The girl looked at Sara. “Stupid ugly bitches like her don’t deserve something so elegant.” She took the dress to the counter and had her father pay for it.
Sara went off to Crow with watery eyes.
“What’s wrong Sara?” Crow asked concerned.
“Allergies.” She said, rubbing her nose.
“Oh.” Crow said. He looked relieved. “I called you over here because they have underwear.” He blushed. “I just figured you might wanna look.” He bashfully walked away.
“Oh Sara.” Bane’s voice spoke from behind her. She turned around to see Bane holding a playboy bunny Halloween costume. “Look what I found shopping. It’d look so hot on you.”
Sara started to cry.
Bane got a panicked look. “I’m sorry. It’s just a Halloween costume. I can always get another girl to wear it.”
“That’s not it.” She said.
“Umm…” Bane turned red. “Shit. I’m no good at this crap. I hate it when girls cry…Umm…What’s wrong?”
“Cramps.” She said.
“Cramps? From wh…oh shit. Do I smell blood? ...Umm…Go to the bathroom. I’ll have someone bring you something.” Bane said as he ran off frantic.
Sara stood up and walked towards the restrooms. “This is the second worst day of my life.” She cried. Suddenly, someone was lifting her.
“Hold on.” Crow said, running with her. “I have what you need. Why do you think I walked away?”
“Thanks Crow.” She said.
After her business was done, she walked out to see Don, Ray, Bane, Rem, and Crow standing together, blushing. “Guys,” She said, “it’s not the end of the world.” She rubbed her forehead. “Anyone have any Midol?”
“Oh yeah.” Crow said with a sarcastic look. “We guys always have some Midol on us.”
“Just asking.” She said.
Bane tossed her a pill bottle. It was Midol. “That was embarrassing to get you.”
“It’s already opened.” Sara said.
“Yeah. It was pretty embarrassing to ask the girl I was making out with for some Midol for a girl. You’re lucky that you’re so sexy.” Bane said, getting smacked on the head by Crow afterwards.
“Well...” Crow said. “I think you have plenty of clothes so far…Now all you need is…”
Sara sighed. Bane, Ray, and Don high-fived each other. “Victoria’s Secret, here we come!” The troublesome trio shouted together.

“Here’s a nice thong for you, Sara!” Don said, holding up an orange string that people claimed to be clothing.
“How about this pink one?” Ray asked, holding up a pink thong.
“Personally, I like the black and red one with the lace.” Bane said, holding up another thong.
Sara turned red. “I…hate this…” The worst part to her though was that Crow had told her that he was going to try to find Night, and Rem went off to get computer parts, wires, and other electronic stuff. They both abandoned her and left her with Bane and his lackeys. Trying to ignore them, she walked around the store looking for some decent underwear. People stared at her as she picked up the bra marked with the letter D. Quickly she snagged a few things, paid for them, and made her way out.
She turned back and noticed that Bane, Don, and Ray were all buying stuff from there, making more heads turn to look at her. She wanted to hurl herself off a cliff.
“Excuse me.” A boy said when he walked up to her. “But will you go out with me?”
Suddenly, Bane, Ray, and Don were standing beside her.
“She’s my wife.” They all said together.
“Help me.” Sara mouthed.
The boy backed up, freaked out by the three tough guys in front of him, and ran.

“What did you guys buy that stuff for!?” She shouted while they waited outside of the mall.
“Those plain undergarments don’t suit a goddess like you.” Bane said, looking pleased with himself.
“It’s not like we’ll be seeing them. Although, I hope we do.” Ray said.
“Plus those two things you’re carrying around deserve something nice.” Don said.
Sara shook with rage and slowly lifted her eyes to glare at them. They all backed up. “I’m going…TO KILL YOU THREE!”
“Where’s Crow?” Rem asked as he walked out of the mall, interrupting Sara’s rage.
“He said something about finding Night.” Sara said, still glaring at Bane, Don, and Ray.
“What!?” All the boys asked in unison.
“Damn.” Bane said. “This isn’t good.”
“What?” Sara asked.
“If Crow even drinks one shot of anything, he’ll be off raping girls!” Rem said. “This is no joke!”
“How can he get so drunk!?” Sara asked, panicked now.
“It’s not exactly drunk.” Don said.
“He’s got a second personality. A bad one at that.” Ray said.
“If alcohol enters his system at all, his second personality takes over, and his second personality is one of the worst people you could ever deal with.” Rem said.
“And we probably can’t hold him back either.” Bane said. “He’s tough as shit when he’s in second personality mode. The only one who could stop him is Night, who is probably drunk himself.”
“There’s only one karaoke bar in this city.” Rem said. “Come one.”
Bane wrapped Sara’s arms around his neck. “Hold on tight. We don’t have enough time to grab a cab or bus. We’ll have to run, and I suggest that you close your eyes or you’ll feel even sicker. Not being used to our speed will make you feel ill.” Sara held on and closed her eyes.

The karaoke bar was packed, and there was a long line waiting for the microphone because someone was hogging it. That someone was none other than Night, singing perfectly to Sweet Child O’ Mine. Nobody seemed to care that he was hogging the microphone either. Probably because his voice was like an angels. He could jam for a drunk.
Bane, Rem, Don, and Ray all started to fight back laughs for a second. Then, remembering Crow, immediately stopped laughing and got serious.
“Okay.” Bane said, putting Sara down. “It’s a good thing that we all look too tough to try to bug us about our age, and Sara has big jugs. If that happened we would’ve had to knock out some people.”
“Hey!” Sara said, crossing her arms in front of her chest as if it would do her any good.
“We’ll split up and look for Crow.” Rem said. “Sara, you go to the girl’s restroom and wait until we knock and say that it’s okay.”
“Alright.” Sara said. She watched them all disappear in the crowd, and then went in search of the restrooms.
Just as she was about to enter through the bathroom door, a hand grabbed her and pulled her out the back door.
She was slung back, and her head hit the wall. Someone had her pinned. She opened her eyes to see Crow with a dark look in his eye.
“Looks like I’ve found my prey.” Crow said with a different, darker voice. He licked his lips. “I’m going to have some fun with you.”
Sara started to cry. “C-Crow…please! It’s me!”
“Exactly. It’s you who will be my prey.” He said.
“Stop! Let me go!” Sara said trying to fight.
“Now why would I do that?” Crow whispered in her ear.
“HE—” She started to call for help, only to have a hand thrown over her mouth.
“I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” He touched his lips to her neck. “Yes, so much fun I’ll have.”
“I don’t think so!” Bane said, standing behind Crow. He smashed a bottle on Crow’s head.
Crow turned still holding on to Sara and swiftly picked up a piece of glass. He held it up to Sara’s throat. “I suggest you let me go, Bane, or she’ll die.”
Sara couldn’t see anything through the tears.
“Damnit Crow! Let go of her!” Bane said.
Crow sneered for a second before that sneer was wiped away by a punch to the face. He let go of Sara and fell to the ground.
“You interrupted…” Night said, holding the piece of glass in his hand and a ruined microphone in the other, “my karaoke.”
Sara backed away some, and then fled off heading back towards the mall, crying. Bane tried to go after her, but was stopped by Crow standing back up to fight.

When she got to the mall, it was closed. Sara sat outside on the bench crying her eyes out. An arm wrapped around her. She looked up to see the man from Hot Topic sitting beside her.
“You look sad.” He said with a tough grin.
“My best friend…just tried to rape me.” She said, barely getting the words out through the sobs.
“Yeah. Its one wretched place isn’t it? Planet Earth. Everybody is horrible. I hate them all.” He looked down at her and handed her a present.
“What is it?” She asked.
“Something meant for you and you alone.” He said. He kissed the top of her head. “You’re too good for any of those punks you were with. Don’t worry though. One day,” He looked into her eyes, holding them in his gaze, “they’ll be out of your life for good.” He stood up and started to walk off. “I’ll see you again soon, Sara.”
Sara just watched as the man walked out of sight. She looked down at the present. When she opened the box, the beautiful Victorian dress was staring her in the face.
